Printer and Copier Q & A
Q. I get background shading when printing
envelopes or labels on my HP LaserJet II/III, how can I prevent this ?
A. These printers use an electrostatic imaging
process. Heavy weight papers require a greater charge to transfer the
image. Try increasing your print density to 3 to minimize the shading.
Q. My printer moans when the paper comes out of
the top tray, is this a serious problem ?
A. No, it just means that your paper delivery
rollers are starting to wear. Have them replaced when you can no longer
stand the noise. You can also have a professional cleaning performed on
the machine which will also help quite the noise. (another service

the cable will have come out of the connector.

shading , even when on the lightest setting, what’s wrong ?
